Argo

Argo is an experimental float tank for achieving directed altered states of consciousness through AI and sound.

FABRYX member Lex Dromgoole working in The Garage on Argo v0.2 (2023)

The float tank contains various types of sensors that capture live biosignals from the participant and send them to an AI system, Echo, that has been trained in the frequency domain to recognize and affect states of mind. The experience is designed for long sessions lasting multiple hours during which the participant is taken on a journey through various kinds of sound that include guided meditations, music, animal sounds, and synthetic frequencies in the audible, sub, and ultra sonic frequency ranges.

Argo v0.2 installed at Urbit Assembly, Lisbon (November 2023)

Argo is open source infrastructure for open source research. The CAD model and cut files are available via Github in the Argo repository.
