FABRYX membership is granted exclusively through invitation and is orchestrated using the Urbit ~fabryx star. The guild votes on all new members. An apprenticeship program (see below) is used to identify new members.

Member Ships

Membership in the guild is represented by a Member Ship: an Urbit planet ID NFT sponsored by the ~fabryx star. Sponsorship is initially obtained by guild vote. Member Ships can be doxxed (by publishing one's legal identity) or anon. Each anon member must obtain and hold at least one vouch from a doxxed member by disclosing their legal identity to them. Should the vouch be revoked and the anon member not wish to publish their legal name, their sponsorship will be removed and they will no longer be a member.

Apprentice Ships

Aspiring members can join the apprenticeship program in the mineral arts to develop necessary skills and attempt to earn their membership.

The program is presented by FABRYX members through a public YouTube series that chronicles ongoing guild practice and contextualizes it with emergent theory. Anyone can view the videos but only apprentices can contribute and join the live interactive calls.

Becoming an apprentice requires acquiring an Apprentice Ship: an Urbit planet ID NFT spawned, but not sponsored, by the ~fabryx star. Upon admission into the guild, the ship will be sponsored and become a Member Ship.
